Anna Aristova is an entrepreneur and multidisciplinary artist. Over the past two decades, she has led design and creative practices in New York and internationally, developing architecture, interiors, brands, objects, and cultural projects from initial concept through to full-scale realisation. In 2008, she founded her own design and architecture studio in New York, and in 2016, she co-founded A Space, a multidisciplinary design studio. She is currently co-founding AIR Lab, an AI research company focused on transforming human expertise into evolving repositories of knowledge.
She holds an MFA, an MA in Language and Literature, a Graduate Diploma, and an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art. She is currently based between London and New York.
In 2023, she began co-leading PICSAI research retreats, bringing scientists and creatives together to explore new approaches to collaboration. At A Space Residence in London, she regularly hosts and moderates conversations between artists, scientists, and researchers.
Her artistic practice is rooted in site-specific spatial environments and participatory installations that translate psychological and emotional states into material form. Her recent research examines how human presence, intimacy, and emotional exchange can endure in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms, artificial intelligence, and mediated communication.
